After giving you a detailed specs of the main features on the newly previewed iOS 5, we are still left with some of the new features that have come up on iOS 5 for your iPhone, iPod, iPad. I am going to explain the remaining new  updates on iOS 5.

Mail.

The text options on mail have been updated. Earlier there was a single font style available on your iDevice, but iOS 5 lets you format your font. You can now write font in Bold, Italics and Underline any important text you write in your mail. In iOS 4 you had to open each mail, to get it as unread. Not anymore now you can select multiple mails and mark them as read without even opening them. Also, you can now flag mails. Flagging can be done for quick referrals, or to show which messages are most important to you.

Calender.

Tap to create an event and drag to adjust the time and duration. Add, rename, and delete calendars directly from your device. And view event attachments without leaving the Calendar app. iCloud lets you share calendars with friends and family, and it keeps your events in sync on all your devices. So you become all the more organised with your iPhone with iOS 5.

Game Center.

It has become the world most popular gaming platform and Apple have customized it to become ven more better. Now you can upload profile pics for your game center account. Also you can download game center apps  directly from there, no need to open app store to download such games. Discover new games without leaving Game Center and size up an opponent on the spot with new overall achievement scores.

Wi-Fi Sync.

No need of Data Cables to sync your Device now, you can now Sync your iDevice via WI-Fi. All you need to do is to connect your iDevice to a charger where Wi-fi is available and your Mac or PC is connected to it. It automatically syncs and backs up any new content to iTunes. So you always have your movies, TV shows, home videos, and photo albums everywhere you want them.

Multitasking on iPad.

iOS for iPad includes few new gestures and shorcut for your iPad. This helps you get around even quicker on your iPad. Using four or five fingers, swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar, pinch to return to the Home screen, and swipe left or right to switch between apps. Also iOS features the the new split keyboard or thumb keyboard in which you can split the iPad keyboard into two, thus making it easier to type on iPad.

Airplay Mirroring for iPad 2.

AirPlay now supports video and photo mirroring. Which means you can wirelessly and securely stream whatever’s on your iPad 2 to your HDTV via Apple TV. Everyone in the room sees exactly what’s on your iPad displays up there on the big screen, even when you rotate iPad 2 from portrait to landscape or zoom in and out on photos everything on Apple TV shows what your iPad 2 screen shows. And since it is a wireless service you are more free to move, thus conferencing is now made much easier.
